Low Ropes Challenge: The journey of self-discovery begins on this low-to-the-ground challenge course, which teaches rope skills and teamwork in preparation for the High Ropes session. (Grades 6 and up)
High Ropes Challenge: The high course offers group and personal challenges conducted on poles, wires, cables and platforms 20 to 45 feet above the ground. All activities are conducted in a supportive environment and challenge risks are left to each participant. (Grades 6 and up)
Horseback Riding: Take a leisurely ride through the scenic Des Moines river valley on horseback. You can also enjoy the indoor riding arena any time of the season.
Nature Walks: Take the time to stroll through the natural world and discover everything you've been missing.
Campfires: Gather 'round the fire for songs, camaraderie, smores and a rare bonding opportunity.
Archery: Basic lessons teach the techniques and skills necessary to get you ready to shoot.
Canoeing: This is a great opportunity for beginners to learn new skills or enjoy an easy recreational paddle.
Rappelling: Rappel down the tower under your own power. Learn the rope and skills to safely land your feet on the ground.
Climbing: Conquer the climbing wall towering above Y-Camp. You can choose a different route each time.
Zip Line: Test your courage by speeding across the athletic field.
Riflery: Learn firearm safety and responsibility through the use of .22 caliber rifles under direct supervision.
