Melanie Mellinger

Originally from Texas, Melanie began her Y Camp journey as a family camper in 1997, continued through the Leadership Development Programs from 2011-2014 and became a Y Camp leader in 2015. Melanie has served in a variety of roles ever since. Melanie met her husband Ollie at Y Camp when he was over from England and serving as a Leader. They married in 2018 and now reside in Boone. When she’s not working, Melanie loves to travel, re-watch movies and spend time with friends and family. Melanie is always eager to share her love for Y camp with everyone she meets.

Fun Fact: Melanie loves the Harry Potter series and is a proud Slytherin!
